SANTA BOB STRIKES BACK!
We're back! Two years cements this as an annual tradition, right?
Last year, the generous Mutant Family raised over $40,000 for THE TREVOR PROJECT, THE NATIONAL WOMEN’S LAW CENTER, THE PEACEFUL VALLEY DONKEY RESCUE, and the ORGANIZATION FOR AUTISM RESEARCH. We hope to match or exceed that amount for this year’s charities - but can only do it if everyone pitches in!
This year, while watching the JOE BOB RUINS CHRISTMAS special on SHUDDER, you can help in one of two ways: by buying EXCLUSIVE telethon merchandise from FRIGHT RAGS, or by participating in the live Charity Auction - happening right here through 12pm EST on December 20th.
So pop open a few Lone Stars, settle in for a Drive-In double feature, and buy stuff you want anyway to help those in need!
You can buy exclusive JOE BOB RUINS CHRISTMAS T-shirts, Tote-bags, and Hoodies for a limited time only at FRIGHT RAGS!
There three items are ONLY available through the charity telethon. All proceeds will be split equally between the charities featured on JOE BOB RUINS CHRISTMAS Special, only on SHUDDER.
All proceeds of the auction will be donated to one of FOUR excellent charities, which will be announced on the show throughout the night.
- FIRST BOOK - Since 1992, First Book has distributed more than 200 million books and educational resources to programs and schools serving children from low-income communities in all 50 states and provinces in Canada. First Book currently reaches an average of 5 million children every year and supports more than a third of the estimated 1.3 million classrooms and programs serving children in need.
- NATIONAL COALITION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - Their mission is to lead, mobilize and support efforts that demand a change of conditions that lead to domestic violence. The organization is dedicated to supporting survivors and holding offenders accountable and supporting advocates. They seek macro-level change in order to create a society in which domestic violence is never tolerated or minimized, in which victims and survivors are respected, and in which service providers have the resources to serve all victims and survivors.
- NATIONAL GREYHOUND FOUNDATION - For over 25 years, the National Greyhound Foundation’s mission statement has been to Rescue, Adopt, and educate the public about racing greyhounds and other abused people and animals.
- APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT - Since 1969, they’ve made homes warmer, safer, and drier for families and provided transformational service experiences for volunteers from all walks of life. Appalachia Service Project provides one of the most rewarding structured service opportunities in the nation — bringing thousands of volunteers from around the country to Central Appalachia to repair and replace homes for low-income families.
If the yule log in your rib cage is just brimming with love for your fellow man, please DONATE to one of tonight's worthy causes even if you don't want our junk! Just tell 'em Joe Bob sent ya!
